Project Network India recently held its 24th business meet on 13th February 2018. It was a grand success as 53 companies from 37 different industries attended the event. The Bombay Bronx turned out to be a perfect venue for the companies to interact and connect with one another. The venue provided the perfect vibe for an evening filled with networking and business. Companies started walking in half hour prior to the event start time to network with one another and it certainly was a pleasure to watch.
The event started with the co-founder, Trinath Siram introducing everyone to Project Network, a brief of which is explained below:
‘Project Network is a networking platform for various entrepreneurs across Mumbai. They make groups and organise business meet-ups wherein these entrepreneurs come together and give business to one another. They meet once every fortnight and currently have two working groups –
one in South Mumbai called Spark with 19 permanent members and the other in Bandra called Ignite with 13 permanent members. The USP of these groups is to have only one company from one industry. So, let their Network increase your Net Worth.’
The introduction was then followed by an Open Forum wherein about ten companies presented themselves in an innovative manner that left quite an impression in the minds of interested companies and it also helped ease the open networking session.
Moving forward was a panel discussion on ‘Affiliate and Affordable Marketing’ The first panellist was Mr. Yash Chandiramani, Founder of Admatazz. He is a full time digital entrepreneur and a part time F&B enthusiast. The second panellist was Ms. Shraddha Bhansali, founder of Candy & Green She has been in Forbes 30 under 30 in 2018 edition. The thid panellist was Mr. Karan Shah, Founder of IIDE. Mr. Karan has trained over 3000 students in the field of Digital media. The panel answered a lot of queries that every entrepreneur had while improving their marketing skills while staying on a budget. Topics such as, ‘ways to handle negative reviews’, ‘segmentation of audience on Facebook’, ‘industry specific questions’, ‘cheapest ways of PR’, ‘lead generation on Facebook’ were discussed. A great amount of insight was achieved by this discussion that could prove to be helpful to any entrepreneur attending.
